We recently held a stall at an event with Rueben George, Sundance Chief and member of the Tsleil-Waututh First Nation, a prominent Indigenous land defender who has spent much of the last decade fighting the Trans Mountain Pipeline, which transports crude bitumen through his nation’s territory (where Vancouver, Canada is today). He is author of the national best-selling book It Stops Here: Standing up for Our Lands, Our Waters, and Our People (co-authored with Michael Simpson from University of St Andrews).

We have some signed copies remaining (while stocks last)

The event also inspired us to put together a list of other titles that look at decolonising climate justice and conservation efforts, from a wide range of indigenous, colonised or oppressed voices, considering the deeper concept of 'land back' beyond technical ownership.

A couple of non-book recommendations that were metioned during the event were upcoming documentary covering a decade of Wet'suwet'en resistance'Yintah' and 'Snotty Nose Rez Kids'
