Mystika Glamoor's Tall Tales for wee readers + introducing Lighthouse parent group

Please note tickets include one adult and up to 2 children, and this event will take place in the snug, downstairs at the Roxy, Please note this event is IN PERSON ONLY. Access to the Snug is, regrettably, down a flight of stairs with no lift access.

Edinburgh's own surrealist socialite drag queen, and Lighthouse favourite, the gorgeous Mystika Glamoor joins us for a Radical Book Fair first: A drag queen storytelling all our own!

The hilarious and extravagant high priestess of Edinburgh drag joins us for a morning of picture book readings!

This silly FABULOUS storytelling session is suitable for all ages, most fun for children aged 3+, we'll be seated on the floor with cushions and blankets and there are a few armchairs!

We will also take this perfect opportunity to scope out the terrain for a new parent group based at Lighthouse! If you are a parent who would like to be able to devote more time to organising and activism, or like the idea of a parent group with a shared commitment for social justice as a basis, or feel strongly about making organising spaces accessible to those with children - we want to hear what you want/need! Come along, share your thoughts on our ideas board and note your interest.

Arrive and settle in from 10.40, meet our glorious host and chat to us about the parent group. Around 11.00 Mystika will launch into a picture book reading to delight all ages, celebrate stories and self love!
