Isolated causes, siloed groups and lonely humans are always far easier to ignore for those who would hinder radical change and justice. With greater understanding of the interconnectedness of the environmental and climate crises, refugee and migrant injustice, neo-colonialism and economic inequality, it becomes more important than ever to look beyond boundaries of specific causes, to form greater networks of solidarity.

Join activists and organisers from Edinburgh and further afield as they come together to share ideas and experiences of mutual support, solidarity work and how we constantly remind ourselves that our best chance of achieving justice is by becoming truly intertwined. Like parts of any ecosystem, we must all flourish, or none will.

As speakers we have representatives of Living Rent, as well as Venus Abduallah from Tripod Training. We are also joined by Morag Livingstone an award-winning documentary filmmaker, writer, and internationally published author. She is co-author of two best-selling narrative non-fiction books, Hackney Child and Tainted Love and most recently, co-author of Charged. She is a lecturer and teacher in the areas of photojournalism, the moving image, and storytelling.
