Join poets and editors Rachel Plummer and Russell Jones on a journey through time and space, viewing strange lives and meeting even stranger lifeforms from the darkest depths and brightest sparks of the imagination. We’re thrilled to host a celebration of Multiverse, a stunning anthology of science fiction poetry!

This landmark anthology includes more than 170 sci-fi poems by 70 contemporary writers from around the world, including Jane Yolen, Harry Josephine Giles, Sofia Rhei, Jenny Wong, James McGonigal, Fyodor Svarovsky, Joyce Chng, Vincente Luis Mora and Claire Askew.

Explore poems about robotics and romance, asteroids and arachnids, nukes and nanobots, worm holes, warp drives and future wars, with an international array of exciting modern poetic voices, to boldly go where no poetry has gone before…


You can also buy your tickets in the shop & save yourself the eventbrite booking fee :P

The bookshop is wheelchair accessible, events are seated and speakers use microphones throughout their events. We have further details about accessibility HERE, or feel free to get in touch, we’re happy to help however we can!

These are intended to make the evening accesible to those who are unwaged/ on benefits/ might not otherwise be able to attend - If you can afford a £3 ticket please book one as this supports the bookshop and allows us to save free places for those who can’t, thanks!
